  • 6 tbsp chia seeds (1 tbsp per jar)
  • 6 tbsp peanut butter (1 tbsp per jar)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup (or agave nectar)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Homemade Berry Jam:

  • 300g frozen mixed berries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

For the Crunchy Toppings (Add Before Serving):

  • 6 tbsp crushed peanuts
  • 6 tbsp granola

For Layering in the Mason Jars:

Bottom Layer (Homemade Berry Jam - Sweet & Fruity):

  • Divide the berry jam evenly among the jars.

Second Layer (Creamy Peanut Butter Oats):

  • Pour the peanut butter oat mixture evenly over the jam.

Top Layer (Crunchy Toppings - Add Before Serving):

  • Crushed peanuts and granola for extra crunch.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Berry Jam:

    • In a saucepan over medium heat, cook frozen berries, maple syrup, and lemon juice for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until softened.
    • Mash with a fork, stir in chia seeds, and let cool before adding to jars.
  2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Oat Base:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
    • Stir well and let sit for 5 minutes, stirring once more before layering.
  3. Assemble the Mason Jars:

    • Bottom Layer: Spoon the berry jam into each jar.
    • Second Layer: Add the peanut butter oat mixture.
    • Top Layer: Store crushed peanuts and granola separately, adding before eating.

Storage & Serving:
